UNDERGROUND REHABILITATION SERVICES

This involves the opening-up of old areas that have converged, or the walls (side, footwall and hanging wall) of the excavations have deteriorated due to excessive pressure build up.

DEVELOPMENT OF FLAT AND VERTICAL EXCAVATIONS

Excavation of lateral and vertical development ends to the required dimensions using both conventional and mechanised mining methods. The designs of the excavations are that of the mine owners and as such are used to baseline the quality control parameters of the works to be undertaken.

INSTALLATION OF SUPPORT UNITS

This involves the primary and secondary support of excavations or development ends to enable it to sustain the distributional pressure during the required operation period.

All support units as recommended by RME, are installed to precision to achieve effective support mechanism of every unit.
